Windows 9 Videos Show The Future Of Your Computer

As consumers continue to dislike the Windows 8 Start Menu and other forced upgrades, Windows 9 appears to promise a return to more familiar surroundings, in the form of a mashup Start Menu, combining the best of Win 7 & 8’s interface. As the videos show, we will now have the ability to select from the Hybrid-Menu, or the native 8 option of a full screen tiles. Additionally, the Charms Bar (right sidebar containing settings and controls) appears to have vanished, replaced by a Notification Center, and other tweaks yet to be explored.

Another exciting option, and one familiar to Mac users, is the ability to generate multiple desktops, designed to help organize tasks and applications into “flippable” screens. For laptops, tablets, and desktops with only one monitor, this feature alone could be a huge boon to productivity and usefulness.
